Big things start with a small field
Ingenta is a family farm. We started on a 2.9-hectare plot that belonged to our parents — today we farm 37 hectares using No-Till.

Our story
From 2.9 hectares and a single tractor to a farm whose case study was included in the “Syla Ahrozmin” (The Power of Agri-Change) collection.
Products
Commercial grain on 37 hectares
Our crop rotation changes every year depending on soil condition, moisture reserves and the market. We use seed of Ukrainian breeding that has proven itself in our conditions.
We alternate cereals with oilseeds and legumes: soybeans return nitrogen to the soil, while sunflower and millet use moisture in different ways. Together with No-Till, this maintains soil fertility without depleting the field.

Where our produce goes
Bespalivka grain elevator · oil extraction plant · part of the harvest is sold straight from the field
Next step
Our own storage hangar — so we don't have to sell at harvest, when prices are lowest — and processing into oil, meal and feed

Machinery
A seed drill rebuilt with our own hands
We upgraded an SZ-3.6 grain seed drill for No-Till: we fitted turbo discs and openers with individual press wheels.

Call us
Where the name comes from
Inna, Zhenya, Tanya — wife, husband and daughter. A family farm not just in name, but in substance.
Who runs the farm
Yevhen Shekhovtsov is a trained agronomist and a graduate of Lypkovativka Agricultural College. In the field since 2016.
History
From 2.9 hectares to our own technology
Our first harvests came from our parents' 2.9-hectare plot. We grew wheat and oats, mostly for our own livestock. Later we began renting land plots from fellow villagers, and in 2017 the farm was officially registered.
Today we farm 37 hectares: 10 of our own and 27 leased from local land share owners. The family works on the farm full time, and two more workers join us in season.
Longer droughts and unpredictable weather made traditional ploughing unprofitable: erosion, loss of moisture, rising costs. Our answer was the switch to No-Till and binary sowing.
